Free tour of the Bohemian San Blas
Description
Description
If you’re looking for a different kind of free walking tour in Cusco, join this stroll and step into the traditional neighbourhood of San Blas, a haven for artisans and one of the city’s most charming corners. Its cobbled lanes, framed by colonial houses and colourful galleries, are the perfect backdrop to wander while uncovering stories, myths and curiosities from Inca and colonial times.
Get ready to walk along the quirky streets of the Seven Serpents, the Seven Little Sheep and the Seven Little Devils, and to snap stunning shots of Cusco’s Historic Centre from the viewpoints of San Cristóbal and San Blas.
Enjoy a unique urban adventure with a local guide who will help you truly appreciate the historical treasures of the Sapantiana shrine and aqueduct, the church and square of San Blas, the palace of Manco Cápac and the mighty Qhapaq Ñan— the Great Inca Road that once wound its way into the Amazon.
Please book this tour at least 48 hours in advance.
